Hayden got his first REAL pedal trike recently! He was using a sit-down pedal-less scooter prior to this (which he loved, but it just wasn't as fun as the Hot Wheels type that all the cool kids his age use). So we found one online and went to pick it up last weekend. He couldn't reach the pedals at first. Then we went to an indoor playground on Tuesday of this past week and he found a bike just like his there (only a little smaller and with skinnier wheels)...he started to ride it and all of a sudden he became a pedaling fOoL! He figured it out and there was no stopping him...he rode for nearly the entire 2 hours that we were there. I WAS SO PROUD OF HIM! We called Dad and told him too. Hayden was so happy he could finally do it. It took a few days of trying in order for him to have the same success on his "fancy bike" at home (that's what he calls it), but now he can pedal it too and is getting faster and faster everyday.

It is so satisfying to see him reach these physical milestones! He's becoming quite the little man. -- mam
