At the end of the appointment, they gave him a gold coin as a treat which the kids can put in a vending machine by the exit door. Hayden got a bouncy ball that was glow in the dark and looks like a scary eye ball! He loves it. Porter ATE IT while he was sleeping, so when he wakes up from his nap, he is not going to be ball that his EYE - BALL is gone! He calls it his Eye Ball...which is pretty funny.

They didn't push it to do X-rays today, so we have another appt in six months. The dentist said his teeth look great (no cavities), but that we need to start flossing. Especially his two front teeth which are tight together.

All in all, I am very pleased with the recommendation that we got to go to this dentist! He is a pediatric dentist and I think that makes all the difference. The office is ALL about kids and it seemed to make Hayden feel SO at ease. The hygenist was extremely patient and made the polishing treatment FUN by counting his teeth as she "tickled" them. I was very impressed! -- mam
