This week was one tantrum after another. Which for Hayden means flying off the handle and screaming at the drop of a hat. I mean, high-pitched, pissed-off screams. (But we all know, he's always been a screamer so it is no suprise that he resorts back to it now in this new phase). He can be fine one second and screaming, kicking and crying the next. He is so Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde lately. It is very exhausting. I find myself spending the entire day working to avoid a tantrum. He has been in "time-out" countless times and has had a talking to more often than I can count. He doesn't want to share, or even let you look at his toys (even if he wasn't playing with them at the time). He doesn't want to eat what you cook for him and he certainly doesn't want to do anything that you ask. He doesn't want to hug or cuddle, or even sit still 90% of the time. He is a mover and a shaker and wants to do what he wants to do and he wants you to do what he tells you to do...or else. This is the worst it has ever been. Let's just hope that this is the peak before the valley. For my sanity's sake anyway. -- mam
