His fever has subsided (he had one all day yesterday and half of Saturday), so that is good. I am so thankful we got the flu shot for him. I think that helped weaken the effects of this flu and will hopefully make the whole thing pass more quickly. We will make that a yearly habit for sure!

On a side note...his face is scabbing over more now and looks worse than it did the first couple days after it happened. I just keep putting Neosporin on it as much as I can (he keeps rubbing it off while playing or drinking, etc).

Hopefully the theory of things come in threes will not apply here...between the face plant and the flu bug, I don't know if I can handle another bad thing happening to my little guy right now! At least give us a week or two break! -- mam
