There really is a lot to talk about though, as Hayden is growing and changing SO much lately as he approaches the year and a half mark. Can the terrible twos start THAT early? Stay tuned and find out!

But, one thing that I did the other day was write down all of the words that Hayden "says" and then I took a video as I read them to him and had him repeat them all (as proof!). Of course, a lot of these words are not enunciated perfectly, and only we know what he is referring to when he uses them in his daily speaking, but hey, they still count. He uses them appropriately and that is what matters.

So here they are (in no particular order): me, duck, dog, bubble, shoe, hmmm, yeah, hi, hello, bye bye, book, pooh bear, poo poo, pee pee, toot toot, box, boo, zebra, ball, bird, moon, star, on/off/out (all sound pretty similar), stool (as in a height assisting device, not another word for poo poo), toes, eyes, nose, oatmeal, elbow, knee, juice, milk, banana, more, mama, dada, papa, poppy, grandpa, grandma, sydney, no, bunny, yummy, help me, diaper, heavy, blankie, DVD, bath, tree, night night, bike, balloon, bravo, puppy, egg, worm, water, bug, bee, light, belly, bus, baby, mouth, mouse, tickle tickle...there may be a few that I am missing, but that is pretty much what he can say...

With all those words listed (which is impressive enough to me), it is amazing though how much more he comprehends. You can ask him..."Please put this toy in the basket", or "please throw your diaper away", or "hey, your puppy is over in the kitchen by the pantry" and he knows exactly what you are saying. It is quite amazing really.
