Weight: 21.5 pounds (12th percentile) Height: 31.5 inches (50th percentile) Head: 19 something (the exact size eludes me, but I do remember that it remained in the 97th percentile)
Dr. Bilger is happy with his weight now (we jumped back up from his 12 month appt when he was in the 4th percentile....he was in the 12th at his 9 month appt, so she thought that was more his "norm", so we are shooting for that from now on...she thinks he will always be a little tall and thin, which is perfectly fine).
She was also impressed by the amount of words that he knew and his animal noises (her child is 3 months older than Hayden and is just starting a few animal sounds and still wakes up at night to feed!).
This was, however, the first doctor's appointment where Hayden freaked out...the entire time we were there. He did not want to be weighed, or even looked at by the doctor or nurses. He didn't want to get near the table with the protective paper on it and checking his ears and givings shots (he got 3 boosters and a flu shot) was a joke! She said that it is typical at around 15 months to loathe the doctor's office as separation and stranger anxiety are strongest at this stage, so she would be worried if he wasn't afraid. She said it was an important developmental milestone and he is seemingly right on track! -- mam
