I've had three attempts to learn the guitar, this being the fourth. I'm hoping it sticks more than just dinking around with the 10 chords that are easy to learn.

The nice thing is that it gives Hayden some decent musical exposure (he has started to groove to music in the car btw), and he is not shy at all to just walk up to the piano and start playing with the keys.

Something new that started very recently (and I only noticed it tonight) is that he is starting to get some tone (or inflection ) in his voice. He was upstairs with Mom when I got home today so I said hello and then went in to drop off the bag real quick. He said "Da Da?" .. "Da Da!?". You could totally tell he was posing a question, along the lines of "Hey, where'd you go man?"

Finally, I've embarked on the ever important slang term "Dude". We're working on all kinds of inflections, usage scenarios, and overall length of the sound. He's coming along quite well. -- cjm
