That wasn't what I was planning on having as the title for what was supposed to be our very relaxing anniversary trip to the Oregon Coast, but it is unfortunately the most fitting.

We left Friday and headed down to Cannon Beach to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. We go every year and always have a blast. This was our second year going there with Hayden (remember last year...he was a month old and if it weren't for the constant crying, lack of sleep and torential rainfall we would have had a great time!). So, this year, we've added terrible car ride and sleepless night to the list of fun times at the beach!

It wasn't all bad. The weather was gorgeous all three days. On Saturday, we had a great day at the beach and took some family photos and just hung out. Hayden seemed to like the sand and got into it, digging around and doing the butt scoot along the beach. That was fun to see.

Maybe next year will be better....he'll be running around, enjoying the water more which should make for a good time...we hope! -- mam
