Here's how things went:

Day 1 (9/14/05): Morning Nap - Didn't talk about the paci, didn't look at the paci, didn't think about the paci...just did our normal morning nap routine; changed diaper, grabbed Puppy, headed upstairs, turned on the fan, read one book in the rocker, and into the crib he went....I shut the door and hoped for the best. Funny thing...a paci-free mouth lends itself to much talking. He yammered away in there for nearly 25 minutes...no crying, just gibberish of various forms. He slept the normal 2 hours once he finally put a sock in it (he did wake up 45 minutes into it - a sleep cycle - and settled back down after a little talking).

Day 1: Afternoon Nap - More of the same: except this time he must have been thinking about something funny, because he was laughing instead of talking before he settled down. Slept 1.5 hours.

Day 2: Morning Nap - Drove dad to work, so he was a little overtired when we got home and started our nap routine. He cried for about 8 minutes before settling down, talking for about 2, and then drifting off. Woke up 45 minutes into it again and cried for about a minute and went back down again.
