Lots of new things are happening with Hayden these days. I know I just posted his 7 month update, but I thought I better fill in a few things that have happened since then. So...besides the new tooth, Hayden seems to be developing more of his personality. Yesterday I was putting him down for his afternoon nap. All was quiet in the room and so I thought he was fast asleep. Then all of a sudden I heard a little squeal of delight coming through the baby monitor. I went upstairs to see what he was up to, and when I walked in he was up at the head of the crib, completely twisted around (laying mostly on his stomach) with his blanket wrap off and his hands reaching for the bars at the top of the crib. I stood next to the crib without him knowing I was there. He continued to squeal and mess around. Then in a whispered voice I said, "Hayden, what are you doing in there?". He whipped around and started cracking up. He laughed and I laughed. It was so funny. He knew he was caught being mischievious.

I can't wait for more of his personality to come through. I am sure we will have each other laughing all the time! -- mam
