Hayden set bottom in his first swing today! Why we have never put him in one before now, we are not entirely sure. Really, I don't think it even crossed our minds to do so. Then our friends said that their son (who is 10 days older than Hayden) had never laughed so hard as when they put him in a swing. So, we just had to try.

It was another sunny day here in Seattle (yes, it really is early March!), so we seized the opportunity and headed outside. We joined Lynn, Gage and Bren at the aptly named "Top of the Hill Park" and gave the swing a trial run. He loved it! He kicked his feet around and smiled quite a bit. He didn't have the roaring laughter that our friends experienced with their son, but we know he enjoyed it.

As you can see from the photo, he was pretty much drowning in this bucket swing. Two or maybe three of him could have fit in there! But, he just leaned forward and enjoyed the ride.
